Terms of service
Last updated 8 November 2026
These terms cover the PointsPilot browser extension, this website and PointsPilot Pro. By using them, you agree to these terms.
What PointsPilot does
PointsPilot estimates what flights cost in airline points, from published award charts, the cash fare and the data we maintain. The estimates are a guide, not a quote: airlines change prices and availability at any time, award seats aren’t guaranteed, and the final price and taxes are whatever the program charges when you book. Always confirm on the program’s own site before transferring points, because transfers usually can’t be undone.
PointsPilot isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any airline, bank, card issuer or travel site. Their names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Using it
The free extension is for your personal use. Please don’t copy, resell or redistribute PointsPilot or its data, interfere with the service, or try to get around the Pro licence.
PointsPilot Pro
- Who sells it. Pro is sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which processes your payment and handles tax. Their terms of sale apply to the purchase.
- What you get. A one-time payment buys a personal licence to Pro for as long as PointsPilot is offered, including future updates to Pro’s features and data. There’s no subscription and no renewal.
- Where you can use it. One licence key works on up to 3 of your own browsers at a time. You can free a browser from the extension’s menu and use the key on another. Please don’t share your key.
- Licence checks. The extension checks your key with getpointspilot.com when you activate it and about once a day after. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the licence stops working.
- Refunds. See our refund policy.
Changes and availability
We keep improving PointsPilot, so features, supported sites and programs may change. Flight search sites change their pages too, which can stop the extension working on a site until we update it. We aim to keep it running well but can’t promise it will always be available or error free.
No warranty, and limits on liability
PointsPilot is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We aren’t responsible for decisions you make based on its estimates, including points you transfer, awards you book or fares you buy. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above. Using PointsPilot after a change means you accept the new terms.
